@ajdicks check out miles' 1964 concert at carnegie hall, so what is at least at this tempo. its good to reinterpret pieces.

@Santi2c Sorry but the original was a cool strut...this is more of a nervous jog. There are far too many horns at once, far too many soloist notes for this song...it just destroys the intimacy and emotion. I can't be the only Miles Davis fan who feels these may be talented musicians but they lost the spirit of the piece.

Actually I think it IS. The NEW standards will be written in places like Iceland, Ghana, and Qatar. The gift of jazz you have given us is precious...BUT its OURS.
