  • Yea I know. I just sold my Blueline AC6000CW because of all that bullcrap. It idled real high going slow and didnt move until throttle was way up. And one big issue was it would not program to any 4 digit address. When I did program it to a 4 digit program it would move but there was no sound at all, then I went back to the default 03 and it had full sound but would not move. I had to get rid of the blueline. I do still have and enjoy the AC6000CW Paragon

  • I got the four digit address too work.

  • Those engines look and sound good

  • Yes, but they on come with three engine notches. Idle, one two and full. Sound funny at full when only going slow.

  • Were you able to program a four digit address into these? For the life of me, I can't do it! I've tried in ops mode, on a program track, with the running decoder in, and with it out, and nothing!

If you know how to fix this please let me know!

    Thanks

  • Email me, I walk you though it.

  • cool!

  • Even with the 4 digit address to work, the fact remains it is not SIMPLE as with any other loco out there and the high idle while running slow is also another big deal. Paragon for me for now on.

  • The paragon series is very nice. I will admit that the bluelines sound was much better than the QSI but the other issues overtook the great sound ya know.

  • BNSF5608, actually the front headlight do dim. YOu need to change a plug on the sound decoder board. J1 to J7 jumper. This lumper move makes the T1 decoder control the head light instead of the BLI sound deocoder. Then you can get any lighting effect your motor decoder has.
