@Wafflesmart Indeed Nintendo makes strong products but you should know why PS2 broke first, its because its internal components are more close to the casing, it was made to resist shocks that it would probably suffer... And Xbox has a really huge casing keeping a large space between the components, thats why it could resist so well but when it fell down it proved that it has very delicate internal components that the casing couldn't protect.
@delliswierd nope, Xbox internal structure is very similar to any PCs, Their weakspot is to fall in the floor. Because its internal sockets may pop out understand? Now Nintendo Gamecube has a completely diferent structure in form of a sandwich making it stronger to any fall or shocks in general.
