The problem is making us have to sue our parents for incompetence!!!! Just went thru similar situation and how the law makes the children wind up the parents enemy makes it impossible to remedy, also the doctors are reluctant to declare anyone incompetent, even when they are clearly in danger b/c they are afraid of being sued.

I believe it was senator Mitch McConnell who was asked why he opposes legislation to protect the elderly and other victims of fraud and scams. His response as to why he opposes such protections? “Because I am not a liberal”. I say if being a liberal means helping victims of fraud and punishing those who lie, cheat and rob people through fraud, I say call me a liberal and I am proud of it. So what do conservatives like Mitch McConnell have to be proud of, protecting criminals?
