http://www.ErikZmusic.com. The Star Spangled banner, as performed by Erik Zukauskas on Guitar. 7/4/10.

This is my traditional, Non Hendrix style, version of the National Anthem. Over the years I've played it at assorted sporting events and such, figured I might as well record it.

Equipment.

Warmoth HSH Strat, Peavey 5150 Head, Carvin 4x12 cabinet, Analogman King of Tone, Fulltone OCD, Boss DD-7, Dr. Scientist Radical Red Reverb.

Recorded with a Canon digital camera. Audio Shure SM57 and Neumann TLM103 into Digital Performer.

  • Can you explain your mini switches & how they operate your pickups?

  • @HavocBillz There are 2 series/parallel/single coil switches for each humbucker and an "always on" switch for bridge humbucker. It basically gives the guitar 31 unique pickup combinations. You should check out the gear section of my website. I have a full breakdown and wiring diagram of how it's setup.

  • Nice shirt!

  • @mjminino Thanks! You definitely can't go wrong with 100% cotton. :-)

  • That is one sick guitar. You got an amazing tone in this video. I went to your website and checked the specs and wow... How much did it cost???

  • @DrWillumz Thanks. All together, with the extras like the one piece body and higher grade maple top, it came out to be about $1700.

  • Hey thanks for the Creative Commons license.

I've used the audio in a video.

  • america has the coolest anthem. great man :)

  • @metalrocker68 Sorry, no tabs. It's my own version I put together over the years. Plus, I tend to change it up whenever I play it. It's in the key of E if that helps. :-)

  • That thing sounds GREAT...
