Very good video, I'm very glad to see such a thing like this :) I'm a Japanophile myself and I'm learning Japanese for 5 years. And I do it as a hobby.
I don't watch anime and I'm not influenced by it at all. If it's about weeabooism I think that it's stupid n pathetic. I laugh at ppl who always label Japan and it's culture as "anime", "kawaii" or anything like that. They themselves don't know anything about, for example, Zen Buddhism, they can't read Japanese script. Again I agree withthe vid.

@XnanichanX I disagree, there ARE good dubs actually.

@Volf99 Hmm, interesting comment. Again I'd have to ask though, who are you or anyone else to really say that someone likes something too much? If it's not hurting anyone else it can't be as bad as everyone says it is. I don't see a problem with listening exclusively to Jmusic or saying that it's better than american music either. Everyone has their own opinions about things. And with the dubs...Anime originated in Japan. Why not watch it in it's original form? Just a thought..lol. =p

@iChairs That's my whole issue with people who dislike so-called "Japanophiles", though. Who is anyone to say that another person likes something unnecessarily? Only the person who likes what they like would be able to say that about themselves.
People who are in love with music or dancing don't get insulted because of their interests. But when a person is in love with a culture or aspect of a culture, they get called names like weaboo and wigger. I think THAT'S what's really unnecessary.

@EvyiZation xDD

@YumRelish Yes, those people annoy me as well. However, this video was not made for those type of people. So it's all peachy! lol..

@XnanichanX [continued] annoying & childish. Also when I've looked at comments on videos like English dub Naruto episodes, there are always people who are complaining that the characters are speaking English. That just seems like a stupid thing to complain about. Some of my Asian friends have said they don't like that ppl automatically group them with Japan and Japan related things. Its like if you said your from Italy in Europe and ppl kept asking you about Germany and German related topics.

@XnanichanX I realized you posed this a year ago but I think MyOppax3 is a bad example of people who hate Japanophiles.
I'm white and don't like Japanophiles. I like some Japanese things, music, art, ect. but from my experience, the degree that Japanophiles like these things is too much. While not all, some of them proclaim to listen exclusively to Japanese music and watch Japanese movies and anime, and then state its superiority to American music and cartoons. That in it self is... [next box ]
weeaboos of America are ignorant and in love with japan even though they were never there, they think that japan is like anime well no.
they think all dubs suck and the Japanese text itself is superior to English just because it's Japanese.

@BlastBurnEX Regardless of weather or not you agree with how much a person is interested in something, I think calling them names because of it is kinda mean.
Also, I just recently began watching anime, and yes, dubs do suck. No matter what language, ANYTHING dubbed sucks in my opinion. I just like to watch foreign things in their original language and read the subtitles, no matter what language.

I like Japanese Hyper Techno but I think Anime is gay. I like Nintendo but dislike Sony. So I can't be a Japnophile as I don't like every single thing that come out of that country. "The West" is only good at "WARS" which is why there entertainment technology is lacking these days.

@SPS148669 Most people who are called Japanophiles don't like everything that comes out of the country.
I myself have been called one many times, just because quite a few of what I like happens to come from Japan. But what people don't realize is that I like these things simply because it's what I like - - it could be from Norway and I'd probably still like it just as much.
I think it's important for people to really try get to know a person first before just slapping labels all over them.
