The original Waka Waka song called Zangalewa from Cameroun Central Africa. It came out in 1980's and was a big hit in Africa and the Caribbeans. Again, the real name of the song is Zangalewa and not Waka Waka. Enjoy it.

lol I remember this from growing up! It was the highlight of my day when i'd rush home from school and the one (!) television station would start broadcasting from 4p.m and for some reason this song was always playing. Memories of a simpler time :-)

All i remember is that i sang this song at "interhouse sports" back in d day in high school in Nigeria....The beauty of being african is dt u would sing a song whole heartedly and with so much passion and not even know what one word means!!.....Hail mother Africa!!
