Wintario, Draw #342, Cloyne, March 1st, 1984, $100,000 Winner in audience

This has to be one of the best lottery draw clips. During Wintario's visit to Cloyne in March of 1984, a 13 year old girl won $100,000 right in the Wintario live audience. Paula Salmon of Cloyne bought a $1 Wintario ticket with her birthday money at the show in Cloyne. She was numb.

The odd time, there were big winners in the Wintario audience. At the 400th draw in Bourget there was a $25,000 winner. And a button presser in Huntsville brought his father good luck, his dad won $100,000 from his button press while watching from home. Watch the pure excitement as the show comes back from the commercial break. And yes, before 1994, anyone could buy lottery tickets. Paula's money was held in trust until she turned 18.
