Honda doesnt use vtec in there auto equipped cars? wth so wat about ex civic, accord SUV, minivan, all acuras? Smh people kill me u have no idea wat you are talking about ,, anyway this looks like good ride for my gf, a Lil vtec, good mpg, nice exterior, rather have 02 cl or tl tho

All K20 Engines are Vtec equipped k20Z2:5500rpm(Type S) K20A3:2200rpm(base)
These are engagement points for the noobs

@BDucasse21 all the rsx engine have vtec. base model comes in manual and auto with vtec.
newer ( i think 00 and up) civic comes in sohc, dohc vtec and nonvtec.

am i seeing wron or is this rsx automatic... honda does not use vtec engines in a automatic ... so wheres the vtec u were talking about ...

the vtec kicks in at 2200 RPM ? isnt that kinda low tho ?

vtec engages at 2200 rpms on the base .................. what your hearing is your dual intake runner and or your vct opening or adjusting at around 5600
