look everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the police are useless rather than spending time putting an end to the stabbings and shootings round the big citys they would rather focus on the small number of recreational drug users and ravers, we don't cause a problem to anyone we party as far away from civilisation as possible but still we are given grief, good for these people at standing up for what they believe in

As for the dumb comment about some of these people claiming benefits, well, here's your 50p back then. I'd rather give my money to these kinds of heroes than to fatcat business men and corporations who cost the country far more in terms of grants, tax-breaks, tax-evasion and general mutual corruption between them the govt. and councils. Creaming off the profits for themselves. They are the real parasites. Attack your bosses, not people who are trying to change things.

There are some stupid, ill-considered comments on here. All these road-building/extending projects solved nothing in the long-run. Just look at the Newbury bypass - cost millions, and 12 years on, the traffic around Newbury is actually WORSE.

if the thatcher and blair/brown governments with fatty prescott demolishing northern towns didnt ram 80% of the population into the south east then maybe there would not be so much congestion and less need to build endless new roads.

look at the m25 the great solution to jams,

what a king size screw up that is,

has it done anything to ease the traffic,

you want to cut congestion you need to allow the population to live throughout the island,

not force northerners down here to find work + homes

I used to live here, when it was a normal road. and i helped the police get rid of the huggers, the real people that lived there wanted the new road, i lost two mates to traffic when i was ten. traffic that now uses the new road. so the kids that now live there are safe.
