Unbelievably saddening that he's gone now. A man who created a whole new definition of Jazz to the general public - infusing it with music that appealed to the masses, whilst still keeping the music to such a high quality. He will be missed greatly.
Best wishes to his wife and children. The music he made will remain it's beautiful self for eternity and outlive us all. R.I.P. Esbjörn.

I'm studing in Jazz University in Naples, IT and i'm writing a thesis on his music. I wrote a tune in his style that i've called "Esbjorn's Mode".

Man this is SOUND music, too, with just the right amount of free-ish ornette coleman sound to it. and Distortion! but still a poetic tune in overall feel.
