wow, I was 14 years old when this came out, and back in the day, back in Germany, "Rolling Disco's " was hot. Meaning, DJ's went from place to place to play / perform. What a great time it was, and the music so great to dance to and just enjoy a night out. Yes, with 14yrs. old, and had to be home by 10.00pm !! So different then these days today. Nice memories !!

Another happy cut. I didn't like this album back in the day. Compared to what is being released & played today this album is fantastic. Didn't truly appreciate what was being played back in the 80's for no other reason than I thought the "sound" would be around forever. Jokes on me. Groups who can sing and actually play an instrument are rare now. I still have tapes from the late 70's early 80's that have some R&B that will never be released on CD. I see them as history and treasures. Progress?

Yea, you can really see a difference when you go and hear groups live. When I saw Con Funk Shun perform in the 90's, they sounded just like their recordings. And, they had a lot of personality.
It's kind of sad, when some of these prime groups age and just can't quite play and especially sing quite the same. I really reminisque when I hear many of the jams that Con Funk Shun put out in the 70's and 80's. The duo of Michael Cooper and Felton Pilate really made for a special harmonic.
