The launch of the new iPad has been the hot topic of discussion in recent weeks, with high tech gurus weighing in on the pros and cons of new device. Developers at Apple are hoping young people will become early adopters of this new technology and make the iPad as common as a laptop on college campuses. Here to talk about how the iPad will fit on campus is Peter Kerwin from the Rhode Island Higher Education Assistance Authority.
@PolishCutie93
I tried Barnes and Noble and they had my textbook for rental for 7 days. I downloaded it to my iPad. I don't know where to get books from but I would try barne and noble, amazon, and Border.
I haven't tried any other company. I will ask my niece who is in college for a list. Sorry!

iBooks needs textbooks. iOS needs printing capability. and iWork for iPad needs to be able to export to Office formats! Pages exports to .doc, but Keynote and Numbers don't export to .ppt nor .xls. once those three areas are improved, i'm sold on this for school!
