Shelters for stray dogs - Turkey

A brief summary of animal rights in my country... Everyday thousands of animals are killed by the local authorities. Some are taken to "rehab" centres, and treated only a little better. With a couple of exceptions, those shelters are nothing but death camps. If there aren't any volunteers to keep an eye on things (because killing or mistreating an animal is forbidden by law), shelters simply execute those poor prisoners because they prefer to spend their budget on other things.
BGD (Turkish abbreviation for Shelters Volunteers Association) tries to help those who are in shelters, and those who try to survive on the streets, and even though the money is tight, volunteers do their best to change the current mentality in Turkey.

Please help us. BGD is a legal charity, and you can help the shelters in Turkey by donating food, equipment, money for medical expenses, and even by spreading the message.

Most of the stray dogs have diseases that spread thats why no one wants them in Moscow,Thailand or anywhere else.

To have an animal means you have to love him, and I love them, so ... why not take action? . Someone told me years ago that the important thing is to do something for what you believe, are people, animals, soil, plants ... but do it. It is important that arises from oneself, without impositions, one day you wake up and say to yourself why I did not before?, But never too late to everything that comes from the heart.

I am definately not a irresponsible owner! You know nothing about me and obviously nothing about the AVERAGE shelters. Some are no kill shelters and are actually doing some good, but most are not and euthanize more than they adopt out. That is murder, plain and simple!

how do we know the money is goin anywhere good?? for all i know, i could donate money back to the turkish government to buy more poison, id much rather donate to a non-turkish org. that is tryin to help. jerkish bastards.
