A spirit of lethargy is a lot more dangerous than it sounds. Active just about any time that something anointed is going on, it takes a lot to fight it off. America is like the capital of lethargy! Be aware - it's like a tick, sucking away your life.

Thanks Doug. I talked with someone tonight who mentioned to me this spirit of lethargy. I have been dealing with sleep apnea and having an almost impossible time with getting up in the morning because of it. Of course, morning is my time to pray and get things done. I think this may be the problem. Thank you again! There are a few other things in ministry I would like to talk to you about sometime as I am a minister and learning more and more about deliverance. Has God ever spoken to you audibly?

There are 2 things people typically mean by that. One is if you heard God in a voice inside your head. The answer to that is, yes - God speaks to His people all the time, if they will shut up & listen (& test the spirits to know it's Him).

Usually what people mean is that it was something outside your head - heard with natural, physical ears. That's a far more rare & the voice of God doesn't have to sound like words - it could be a burning bush or a whirlwind or a whisper. I've heard that too.

Amen brother beautiful sermon, it's sad to see so many addicts go to rehabilitation facilities and come back and end up cracking under the pressure of demons, the saying "Once a drunk always a drunk" gets stuck in their heads and they think it's something wrong with them. People need to wake up and see that there are these evil beings that surround us and will do anything to destroy us.

I know this lethargy. I have been involved in the studies of the mysteries all my life. I realized long ago, that everytime I start reading a serious book or listen to a serious lecture, I immediately start getting so tired I can barely keep my head up. You are right on that one 100%. I do my best sleeping when I want to learn something.

Wow! This happens to me so much when reading the Bible and also on Sundays I like to watch Charles Stanley. Nearly every single time half-way through I fall asleep and wake up usually at the very end of the sermon and I wasn't tired before I started watching, or reading the Bible. It's been getting better recently as Jesus has delivered me from some things that were binding me up. I'm definitely going to cast that demon out and away from me in Jesus name.
