Sky One - Noel's HQ - Noel Edmonds speaks with passion.

From 2009-02-07. Noel Edmonds speaking on his Sky One show, Noel's HQ about the case of a former soldier who had been denied planing permission to build a bungalow.

This show was live but when it was repeated the following day on Sky Two this segmant was edited quite a bit (see my other video for the Sky Two version). I expect in this form the video breaks certain Ofcom codes as Noel Edmonds is suggesting how people should vote in any upcoming elections. Its also quite a personal attack and the person working for the council was not given a right to reply (although the council itself was in the form of the statement read by Keith Chegwin).

I have put this video under YouTube's 'entertainment' category. I hope Noel doesn't mind. It is also listed under entertainment on Sky's EPG.

Totally agree with what he says. There are far too many councils/councillors out there who think they are more important than the people they serve. And Noel's right, some of these people need to think what they are there for and who pays their wages!

Firstly, we all pay their wages, not just the disabled ex-soldiers. They need to consider what is best for the majority even if that has a negative affect on the minority.

Secondly, Noel Edmonds was having a go at a the 'Head of Press' for not sending anyone to appear on his show, this rant was nothing to do with planning decisions, it was to do with Noel Edmonds' ego.

During some editions of this show, Chegwin would be involved in a light hearted recorded item which involved him going out to meat the British public. At the end of this edition (I think), Edmonds did a serious bit to camera and then Chegwin came on and covered the the audience in foam. Edmonds looked like he wasn't happy at this stage and I can't say I blame him, it did jar some what.
