If they're going to sing it in English, they should change the name - Suo Gan is not the same when it's in English. Welsh is a much more beautiful language than English, and a Welsh song deserves to be sung in Welsh. (Just my opinion - I don't want to offend anyone!)

Imagine ... each choir member averages about 7 children they're raising. That's a lot of lullabyes to sing at home.

The Welsh version can not be beat.I am surprised the choir master took the easy way out.Although this is one of the finest choirs in America they are too powerful for this lullaby.It should be sung as a solo or a boys choir either an English one or the Vienna Boys.

@omiolo2 Suo Gân (Welsh pronunciation: [sɨɔ ɡɑːn]) is a traditional Welsh lullaby written by an anonymous composer. The song's title simply means lullaby. (suo = lull; cân = song).
