You HAVE to use something to cover the threads of the bleeder nipple (silicone or grease) .It WILL suck air in from the nipple threads every time you depress the brake pedal! Also open a small pin hole on the lid of your jar or tank to relief pressure inside.An even better way is to use something (a pry bar or something) to force the break pedal down the last time before you finally lock the bleeder nipple just to be 100% sure that air isn`t forced in from the bleeder nipple threads.

@jc3mer when air bubbles stop coming out of the line. u might have to press the brake pedal with ur hand so u can peek below the car. if ur doing it by urself this way is sweet because when u let the pedal go it will only suck fluid up and not air.

thanks for posting this method, this is the same way i do it, but i raise the container up on the engine bay to keep the air bubbles from being sucked back in. either way its a great, easy, fast, and truly a one man bleeding method.
im sure a lot of people have found this use full.

to jc3mer, it is current wisdom to put a 2x4 on the floor so you do not press the brake pedal to the metal, as this usually results in a failling master cylinder as you go thru a bore that is not used on a regular basis. If it is difficult to place a 2x4, pressing a couple of inches as often as needed is good enough.
