F1 2011 Default Springs vs 11/11 Bug

The difference in performance between the default front and rear spring stiffness, and both springs set to 11. PC version.

Driven on Monaco in a dry time trial, with aids on apart from braking assist. I slightly tap the wall once when driving with the 11/11, but I doubt it changed the time by much.

6/6 Springs lap 1:14.067
11/11 Springs lap 1:12.632 (1.432 seconds faster)

Ignore the sector times, both reached a top speed of around 167MPH through the tunnel. 1/1 Springs slows the car by about 5 seconds per lap against the 11/11 time. I don't know why F1 2011 sounds garbled on my machine, it happens with both software and rapture settings.

Uploaded October 2011, I suspect this will be fixed by November.

i love how they both crash at the end of the lap. do people use this bug online?

@ff7walkthru I was doing a hot lap on each, then let go of the wheel as I wrote the timings down. I'd guess a third of the players do use it, since a third of the cars I see carry flawless speed through difficult sweeping corners where the 6/6 would tend to oversteer even with traction control. Just a guess though

Do a lap at Suzuka and compare the lap times. The difference is insane.
