"2,000 Lbs. Of Steel" is dedicated to the memory of Josh Werner and Marcia Bourne.
This video was filmed in Brattleboro and Guilford, Vermont last June featuring local actors cavorting in monkey suits in the woods and chasing vehicles on foot and buying them with bananas only to learn some hard lessons! Featuring local and international musicians playing on the song that the video is based upon, this piece carries an environmental message that brought together people who were willing to share their energies to create something that might make a difference in the world. The fun that was shared in the filming is obvious in the video and the music that developed simultaneously reveals the same groove.

  • FINALLY, I GET TO WATCH IT!! That was awesome... there's kind of a scary message in the song but it's also optimistic somehow... so i like it a lot. And the video is really fun to watch and was a great accompaniment... AWESOME!

  • Love it Gut!!!

  • This fab music video by Alexander P Gutterman and friends has an awesome soundtrack! It also makes an excellent point... If we keep up this much dependence upon metal behemoths of transport and, especially, the toxins that fuel them, we humans will go the way of the dinosaur. I'm glad my household uses 15-speed bikes more and more every day, reducing contribution to ecological disaster. Nice on the pocketbook too- No costly gas required :)
