@hollylane152 Low ball the guy because the valves can damage the pistons, if your lucky a rebuilt head is around 600 bones. not to bad but then you got to install the head too ( time =money) . If its clean and very low milage it can be worth it.

OK SO IM BOUT TO BUY A 2001 JETTA AN ALL THTS WRONG WIT IT IS THE TIMING BELT BUT IDK BOUT THE VALVES.. IF THE VALVES ARE BENT SHOULD I JUS LEAVE THE KAR ALONE?? WATS THE EASIEST WAY TO TIME IT RIGHT AND FAST??LOL

Before you crank the car spin the motor from the crank shaft with a 19mm key to make sure valves don't hit if your only 50/50 % sure.

Yes, yes, man on moon working on timing belt for di testing purpose only. Gud gud, you did it. Oh no not the Zubic Core(!!) Mister Kaufman or should I call you Andy? You did it! I will work on mine tomorrow. It gas engine...same same timing belt and water bomba!

You had all day to put a timming belt on my 2002 Jetta and my engine blew up bud so when you say you can do it blind folded hahha
