No we pay taxes for them and now I can school you. We will take the same tax payer dollars going into medicare medicaid and apply it to free health care instead which is more efficent and already proven overseas that people live longer than they do here. Tell me why are you against everyone having free health care if you talk about corruption then look no further than private corporations and companies including our government too. Free health care though will be no different than police or ect.

the biggest problem with Canadian system is long waits for surgery and the talent drain of Canadians going to USA for ridiculous cash so in a way your stupidly overpriced system even brings us down indirectly. Remember him? Yes, he was the Treasury Secretary. Guess what? Yes, he is also the former CEO of Goldman Sachs. (Didnt Goldman Sachs just get billions in Federal Reserve pledges, bailouts, and or Tarp?)

@mraindog81 There is no such thing as FREE schooling or FREE library. It has to be paid for by someone (taxpayers). And no, this country cannot recognise anything because country is an abstract concept, did you mean politicians or "we the people" ? Public schools performance is terrible, no wonder everyone would rather put their kids to private schools. And no, it;s not just about throwing more money at it, the socialist system of public schools, healthcare etc.

I go to a state school, too. I am an out-of-state student, yet it is still very affordable. Also, this country recognizes that literacy is important, so, when I want a book, I can borrow one for free. Sending a letter is cheap, too, because of this thing called the U.S. postal service.

@SupremePenguinTone No. Moore is dumb because he doesn't realise that what he's against is corporatism, not capitalism - big corporations in bed with government. Capitalism (understand as individual freedom, free market) brought the prosperity in US. In capitalism, firms that made mistakes don't get bailouts. Neither they can use government to get rid of competition. He doesn't realise that what he's asking for is exactly why the economy is so messed up in the first place.
