Bird shot to 1 ounce Slug Modification = DIY Home Made Slugs

Here is a vid series, part 3, that shows how to modify a multi-purpose shotgun shell to a 1 oz slug.

Why do this?

1. In case you can't purchase manufactured slug shells (emergency)

and...

2. To save money - a box of 5 each 1 oz manufactured slugs cost about $5.00, so thats $1.00 per shell. Now by modding a box of multi-purpose shells you save some money. A box of 25 each MP shells cost about $10, so that about .40 cents per shell.

If your gonna practice wouldnt it make sense to save some money in the process? Yes it does.

I noticed with your homemade slugs there was less recoil and not as loud! Great vid!

@D33Lux Homemade slugs (birdshot) do have less powder, hence less recoil. But if you need slugs in an emergency, you can make your own.
