To start running on the wall you can Jump+Bounce on that rail and then Jump+Bounce toward the wall, you will feel that Sonic is at "Vertical Gravity", then homing attack and Sonic will land on the wall. You can also just Bounce+Homing Attack on the rail and press the direction toward the wall on the Analog Stick, Sonic will 'fly' off the rail and will land on the wall, but this seems inconsistent, most of the times Sonic goes down instead
To switch from wall to wall just Jump+Bounce then Bounce+Attack toward the other wall
Spin Dashing on the wall is inconsistent, cause sometimes Sonic just spin instead of charging it and sometimes he loses the "Gravity" and falls
It looks like the wall run doesn't work on the DC version, Sonic gets pushed down when I try to land on the wall

The shortcut at 1:13, there are kill planes everywhere at that area, and since you can't see it is hard to 'fly' through that area without dieing
