It Gets Better w Steven's Comics author David Kelly & Diana Terranova

It gets better and downright groovy with Steven's Comics Author David Kelly. and Host Diana Terranova. "Steven's Comic's" comic strips have challenged the media to publish works featuring gay children. Set in the 1970's, a young boy uses his wild imagination to help him escape his disfunctional family. He creates his own comic book and a groovy superhero called "Star Woman". In his comic life he's empowered, fight the bullies and even has the ability to fly!

This year there has been much talk in the media about gay kids, teens and suicide. It's like media has forgotten all the positive stuff about our teens and think of them as something "less than" just not important because they are gay. Author David Kelly and host Diana Terranova discuss how "It gets better" . They want to kids to know that even if they have to isolate themselves from their peers at school to stop the teasing, they are not alone and they are loved!
