  • Listening to this and remembering other times he spoke up for the American Indian, I wonder why he never used his success and power to make a film that presented a more accurate, sympathetic view of Indian culture. It seems to me it would have had a more positive impact than his comments in interviews which can get a bit rambling and unfocused.
