He's made a fortune selling drugs also.. He knows first hand how drug laws inflate the cost of drugs, driving harder criminals into the business., encouraging more and more violence.

I agree with what these folks are trying to accomplish, but honestly 50 Cent needs to stop making a fortune singing the praises of violence and death before calling for penal reform.

It doesn't have to do with drug use as much as the excessive punishment for getting caught--especially when many more people of color are caught, while more white people actually take drugs. Once imprisoned they are turned on to more serious crimes to survive, and once out, can't get social services, have a record, no job training. It is systematic racism, not if drugs are good or bad. She is trying to protect herself from bad press, like legislators=why these laws haven't been repealed.
