1 - Is Eternal Life A Free Gift ? Romans 6:23

This message started be clarifying the instruction that Yahshua (who some incorrectly call Jesus Christ)Matthew 19:16-20 gave a man who asked him what he should do to obtain eternal life. Yahshua told him to keep the commandments, but the man was not keeping the third tithe law for the poor. The message then started to make the point that while eternal life is a gift we are still required to keep the laws of Yahweh. This is the teaching of the House of Yahweh. The lesson focuses on Romans 6:23 - The wages of sin is death but the gift of Yahweh is eternal life. This one of the many misunderstood scriptures in the bible. All of Christianity is deceived about this and many other scriptures.

Heb 10:29 How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished, who has trampled the Son of Yahweh underfoot, and has counted the blood of the covenant an unholy thing, and who has insulted the Spirit of mercy? The sacrifice of Messiah applied to those mentioned in Hebrews 11 because they like Abraham kept Yahwehs Laws Gen 26:5. They obtained a righteous report Hen 11:39, but not to those who were disobedient. They like us need the Sacrifice of Messiah, but if we (continue to) sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins (Heb 10:26) for that person. Heb 10:28 Those who rejected the Law given through Mosheh died without mercy..

Hi soloporelsangre like most people you do not understand Gal 2:16. If I lived perfectly from the day I was called into the faith by keeping all of Yahwehs Laws not breaking any, I could not have salvation without the sacrifice of Messiah to pay for my past sins. But the sacrifice of Messiah doesnt give me permission to hate my brother, lust after his wife, steal is car, or defile Yahwehs Sabbath. This is why Abraham and the prophets looked forward to the coming of the Savior.

Too bad the HOY Abilene is not teaching this law correctly. First of all, you guys don't know the differrence between tithe and ten percent of income earned from an employer. Tithe comes from the soil of the earth and also the increase of the animals. Second of all, read the script again and it is obvious that the obligation is for the person to give it directly to the recipient. There is no church or central gov't. used as a go-between in the exchange. Most ppl of that group are poor. anyway.

If the House of Yahweh is not teaching the laws correctly then who is? The Messiah said there would be a work in the last days ridiculed like the one Noah did Mat 24:37-39. Also if you get an opportunity to talk to Yahshua in the future, ask him what he was telling the man in Mattithyah 19:16-21 to sell and pay his 3rd tithe with? Potatoes?
