They would've made a great lesbian couple. Kate was the butch one and Allie was the more femme girl. Even though their characters were not lesbians, I think if they made this show today, they might reconsider and make them a lez couple. I've always gotten the lesbian vibe off Susan St. James for some reason. It doesn't matter to me though, just saying.

We have zoning laws that make it illegal for Kate and Allie to live in our neighborhood. It is still okay to descriminate against single people and families based on marital status in the United States. Hello? where is the Supreme Court when it comes to zoning laws???
