Rein Blanken and Peter Henk Gijsman, Dutch veterinarians. They were part of a group of world travelers that traveled from Holland to the buddhistic kingdom of Bhutan by car in 2008. They brought in Brooke Hospital for Animals in Lahore, Pakistan as a charity project, which got adopted by the Road to Bhutan group as one of the four charity projects. The way they conduct their profession, based on socially responsible undertaking of their business brought them a nomination of the MVVO Award in their branch.
