This supermarket is well-known in Holland. Amazing and confusing how many choices in each product there are.

  • @chatfan I say Jolly good show old chap, what a marvelous way to express yourself in such a confiding medium. Rather excellent use of the colonies dialect, cup of Thea?

  • @charlieiscool1000 Wow a limey with no sense of irony, incredulous.

Chips are an american invention , the original name for them is chips so the dutch call them chips just as they call a Sandwich, a Hamburger a hambuger. Issa simple no? As for inventing the english language?:

English is a West Germanic language that originated from the Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain by Germanic invaders from various parts of what is now northwest Germany and the Netherlands.

    Language is a toy.

  • No No so are you calling the ppl who invetend English crazy u realise chips is an american term as ive said before and by the sounds of it u sound american but i think your dutch as it says your from netherlands on your page why r u saying howdy thats not even a proper English way of saying it do u not lrean British English at all seeing as your right near us across the sea can u even tell the difference ?

  • @charlieiscool1000 Howdy partner, let me be tellin yah a few them there truths: only crazy people call chips crisps, and fries are called patat, like the real thing you buy in belgium. And yeah for sure dude like totally school kids decide what products are called... just like in you're aesome country right? It is not like chips where introduced 157 years ago and actually called chips, that would be damn silly. so we totally learn real english like real people speak, for sure!

  • oh no do they teach american English in dutch schools coz those are Crips Not chips Chips are fries

  • what is the name of the market?
