The following is an outtake from Joe Berlinger's movie Crude. On March 29, 2007, Alexis Mera, Ecuador's Secretary of Judicial Affairs, says that he supports Petroecuador filing a nullity suit along with the Attorney General's office, but says, "I don't see it as a very ... sustainable issue." When Mera finally realized that cameras were recording their meeting, he insisted they be turned off. "Why are they filming? That seems to me to be ... completely improper."
