Lt. Col. Rose-Ann Lynch sang "God Bless America" the day the NYSE reopened after the 9-11 attacks, on Sept. 17, 2001. In honor of the 10th anniversary, she was asked to come back and sing again. NYSE Euronext held global bell ceremonies in New York, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon and Paris to remember the victims of 9/11, their families and loved ones, and those who selflessly aided the rescue and recovery effort. Joining Lynch on the platform were, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, Former NYSE Chairman & CEO Richard A. Grasso, NYC Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly, 72nd Secretary of the U.S Treasury Paul H. O'Neill, 53rd Governor of the State of New York Governor George E. Pataki, 26th Chairman of the U.S. SEC Harvey L. Pitt, U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer, Former New York City OEM Director Richard Sheirer and Former NYC Fire Department Commissioner Thomas Von Essen.

This is awesome. I used to work for Captain Rose-Ann (Scrignoli) Lynch at Camp Pendleton a long while ago. Great to see she still has her voice, and I am glad she was asked back 10 years later. Semper Fi Ma'am.
