Here is where it comes in-the NCO's and Officers. Was never embarassed on what happened in Iraq or anywhere else but ratrher in Washington D.C. at Walter Reed. When some of us saw how fowled up it was there-we came up with a plan, adjusted our recovery accordingly, and carried out the plan of the day.Do you think the stuff at Walter Reed just happened without our knowledge or participation? 2 generals and the Secretary of the Army were all fired. One document is needed-ROE. Too easy GI

Thank you for posting this!
Mr Cunningham's good name has been dragged through the mud for more than a decade, due not to his past actions but because of a lack of understanding.
Here he clearly defines his motives for the 1994 combat arms survey, through which he demonstrated amazing foresight & wisdom.

That all depends on your standing in your unit and their overall attitude towards the subject matter. As a former infantry SGT I would recommend you speak with some NCOs you might be friends with or at least on their good side. Guy Cunningham wasn't in the military at the time he gave the survey if I remember correctly. Honestly, I wouldn't give them that particular survey because it's not mandatory and most wouldn't bother. Spur discussion amongst your fellow soldiers. It might work better.

i agree with you. i think i might try and give the 29 palms survey to my new unit, im only a spc you think someone would take it the wrong way?
It's disgusting that American soldiers would fire upon their own countrymen. I am ashamed that I served in Iraq alongside some of these men. There should be new laws requiring all students to be well versed in the Constitution before graduation. In addition to that all potential soldiers should be as well with a mandatory test before being accepted. Schools don't really teach much anymore let alone the Constitution.
