As Governor, Ted Strickland has defended public schools, educators and students from devastating budget cuts, and fought for education and school funding reform.

We all know theres still more work to be done, but Governor Strickland is the best person to finish the job.

Our pro-education governor faces a tough challenge from John Kasich, a candidate who has a long track record of voting against education funding and opposition to organized labor.

  • Actually the choice of Strickland is BLURRY! Kasich is the much better choice. All Strickland does is lose jobs!!!!

  • @corrisschool Well I’ve only spent 15yrs working with a public school system on their budgets I’ve seen the waste and the lack of accountability first hand. The schools are over funded that’s just a fact. It seems like you’ve been listening to the teacher’s union propaganda.

  • "Clearly," it didn't happen ...!

  • this guy couldn't get elected to dog catcher

  • doesnt anyone remember the down hill slide weve been on since 2000. we voted a lot of republicans out . now in only 2years you want to turn back to the people who dug this hole in the first place.

  • In November, we will applaud the announcement of John Kasich as Governor-Elect!

  • cant wait till nov 2 when they say john kasich new gov of ohio

  • @HomelessClownFilms I agree that Strickland has done some negative things to cost the schools more money...in the hopes to make them better. I have not heard anything the Kasich wants to do to make schools better. Sounds like he would like to dismantle them altogether.

  • @glockguy9mm Just curious...where do you get your information? Are you involved in schools for your career? How do you know how accountable the schools are? Or do you just listen to whoever side you want to take an believe them. I've been in public education for 20 years, and yes there are some things that need to be changed. However, many of those things are forced on the public schools by the government, which does not fund the programs they enforce.

  • teddy you never cease to amaze me. every time you open your mouth i find more reasons why i should fire you on November 2nd.
