so you can't use anything faster than 5400rpm? -_- also, does the screw HAVE to be put back in because I kinda f'd mine up. I have YLOD on my original 80gb, so I am going to take the drive out and break my GT5 Collector's Edition free. I can't do the eject trick,because it's not compatible with that model.

i had a ps3 40gb but the hard drive was different, it would slide to the side and then out... Then i got a new ps3 cuz the old one broke and this new one is also 40gb but it has a hardrive that slides out like the one in the vid. ARE they different??

Is the new hard drive straight out of the box? or do you have to format that to FAT32 also?
