Well, Nov 5th was Fireworks Day in UK and King Yellow the night before did not disappoint...
Wicked show from Yellowman and he's looking to be in top physical condition...
I was lucky enough to sit down for 45 minutes face to face with the King for the third time and had a chat and a singalong! but no recording, is just a friend ting!
But, if you're interested, these are some of the things we spoke about;;

Yellow is now the father to 6 kids. Karim the eldest is now 25 years old and studying medicine.

Has 2 grandchildren

I asked Yellow about the rumours Fathead had died in a drugs related killing and Yellow confirmed that sadly Fathead was shot in Miami. Coincidentally, Yellow was in the States at the time on tour. (Yellow and Fathead had split some time before this happened).

Spoke about Zunguzeng, jammed a couple of choruses and verses.

Spoke about Soldier Take Over, jammed a couple of choruses.and verses then about Army Life. Yellow was at pains to point out that was Welton Iries song!

Chatted about his excellant early albums with Josey Wales
and the later Negril Chill/Culture verses Slackness release with Charlie Chaplin.

Spoke about previous UK gigs, inc. Sly & Robbie Taxi tour.

Spoke about Black on Black UK show. Sim Stew, the long-time Sagittarius keyboard player was with us. When they heard that I have a copy of the show, they asked if I could send them the show (Obv. Agreed!)

Spoke about various albums inc. Killimangiro album Yellow remembered he was wearing an Army Jacket on the cover picture!
It was getting late so I said farewell. Yellow told me to bring a woman to the Brixton show so he could take her onto the stage!

Blessings to the King and to Sim Stew of Sagittarius! ( I think he's also Yellow's agent!)

(Sorry bout the picture quality, cheap ass camera-phone.......)
