Exterior shots are all in the wrong aspect ratio. Car looks distorted into a shape not representative of its true design. Fail.

Damn, what a riksy decision the VW board had on their hands. Imagine giving a green light to a new Beetle, which many men would feel embarassed to drive...which doesn´t happen with the original one. You can drive one of the original Beetles and you may pass as an interesting fellow (and don´t think any bloke would feel "less man" for driving one of those), but drive one of the new ones and stand as the butt of many jokes. It would be interesting to understand why this happens...

@tootsiejoon Don't worry, they didn't. I've seen that too and it must be some weird glitch on the site. But I went to check one out at the dealership just for kicks and it still has the second glove box.

@fjbaez29 Looks like VW dropped that second glove box. I just noticed it on the VW website while bulding and pricing one.

@tootsiejoon there is, but its above the box, horizontal. you can see the words "srs airbag" embossed right next to the tweeter.
