Even if someone likes smoking, they can quit if they (A) Want to quit (B) Decide to quit (C) Learn how to quit without having to suffer through withdrawal. The (C) is where my hypnotherapy & NLP programs will help you.

I agree that we have blown the physical aspects of addiction way way out of proportion, as an excuse to continue smoking or whatever. We seem to want to need these compulsive habbits for some other reason. I guess once someone reconfigures their thinking into really wanting to accomplish something, then they will just snap to it and get it done. So what is holding me so tightly to Nicorette Gum? LOL The stuff tastes like crap and gives me a tummy ache after several years. Hmmmm, Gum addict. LOL

The same type of mental addiction that I described takes place with cigarettes can take place with anything else that one can put into his/her mount.

I have found this "swish" pattern or flash technique is not strong enough to stop smoking or change truly ingrained behavior. Yes, it can move one's thoughts away from a vaguely unpleasant experience or debilitating memory, but smoking has a huge physical component that does require willpower - or something akin to it. Eating in stead of smoking, btw, does work.
Good videos. I enjoy your work.

Hi Marcus, Thanks for your comments. If I were in your position I'd feel the same. However, after 31 yrs and tens of thousands of clients who are now ex-smokers, my opinion is:
A. The smoking habit is comprised of putting something into the mouth for relaxation and pleasure - 45%;
B. Conditioned response - 45%;
C. The physical addiction to Nicotine 10%.
Deal with the Stress (A); and extinguish the Conditioned Responses (B); and one is able to remain a non-smoker without willpower.
