✺✺✺✺✺✺ EXPAND FOR JUICY INFO ➜ ➜ ➜ ➜ ➜ ➜ ➜

This is just a test to see what slow mow works best.

There isnt much to tell I used the Panasonic AG-HMC 150 camcorder to record at 1080p and 720p to test fps conversions and the slow motion you get with it. I find that 30p to 24p at 1080p is good for a 15% slower time FX. This seems to work well with more important scenes in a film. The 60p to 24p fps in 720p works super well for a slow motion FX because the footage is slowed down naturally by 50%.
I hope that info helps someone out there because it helped me!

For this video I got direct permission from The Shift to use his song Endless Road (2nd edit) for this slow motion test video. Thanks Shift for your help!

  • @MADMAX839 PT 2-- Ok the hard part is out of the way. Be advised that if not used properly this effect renders for a pointless and time wasting after thought on screen. Now it depends on what program you are editing on but it's all the same thing. You just need to know how to import 60p into a 24fcp, 1080p time line for example. This will give you organic slow mo. The file will extend beyond what used to be the end of the clip So make it bigger. I'm working on some super slow mo now. Different.

  • @MADMAX839 Oh sorry for some rezone I have not received a notification of your last two comments before this. It's a simple matter of having a camera that can shoot at 60p. Nit currently to seme professional camera has the option of 1080p at 60p fps so I'll have to make due with 720p. It might be a little had finding the option to change from the original fps on the camera. My camera cam with 60i at 720i. It works with 60i but not as well. Just shoot in progressive if the camera has that option.

  • So to understand slo mo completely: you can NOT see the slo mo effect in the camera at playback. You must FIRST shoot, say, 720P/60fps with 1/120 shutter; then place this footage into a 24fps timeline and THEN you'll see the effect? Is this correct? Please help.

  • So, just to understand this slo mo thing completely, you can not playback the footage in your camera and see the slo mo effect. You must first transfer say, 720P/60fps at 1/120 shutter into a 24fps timeline and then you can see the slo mo in your edit?

  • @FilghiProductions i told u i have to get funnier and im working on that right now with my crazy dreams that i have that u are not allowed to know untill i post them so i still cant make a video right now cause its night time so yea and i will do one 2mmoro. foshizzles and peace. im gonna make some videos 2mmoro so i can reach at least 20 in like this week or so and then i will go higher than focus on my subscribers

  • @RogerLego Your first BIG mistake is focusing on getting subscribers and not working on original content. Thats all I have to say.
