Mass Coastal Railroad's rare GP28 2009 rushes through the woods between Monument Beach and Pocasset, MA. The engine is running light to the Upper Cape Regional Transfer station within Otis ANGB where 6 loaded trash cars will be picked up. This is the first video, to my knowledge, showcasing the new higher speed on the Falmouth line. Last November the speeds were increased from 15mph to 25mph freight and 30mph passenger.

  • Did They Bring It Up To 25?

  • @skyman2002 I believe it is 25 freight 30 passenger. But most trains seem to do 30

  • Great video, I'll actually be down at the Cape visiting my friend MrAsoft1212. We'll probably be visiting the CCC station in Hyannis.
