  • some of this training is almost irrelevant to basketball

  • THINK SO HUH?... AND WHAT IS RELEVANT?

  • great workout man, did ur shot ever get ruined from lifting weights

  • it wont hurt your shot if you take some days off to shoot. dont ever not train with weight for fear of hurting your shot there is alot more to the game then just that aspect anyway.

  • @GRAY801HOOPS and @taylor2horton i usually shoot after weight training, the next day, my days off... but when it comes to weights, it's the best thing out there for bball!! it gives you strength, more range to your shot, makes things more effortless, helps with vertical... that's why even michael jordan who was affraid of weights ruining his game ended up a fanatic lifter!!!

  • @0n3andOnly

every sports need power and balance!

here wt this video is about

  • y eso es todo?

  • ur workout plan better not fck up my shot

  • Hey can you give me your stats: Height/weight/lifts please

    PLEASEPLEASE

  • @datu0108 ---- stamina and form, you need both in order for you to stay consistent and accurate, you dont want to shoot when your breathing hard, this is why you need weight training when your playing basketball, its so BS how you tell me weight training can affect your shot, have you seen ray allen benching and doing curls and tri's? and your telling me its guna affect your shot? cmon dude number one in three point shooting, weight training helps you to stay and shape and for better performance

  • @otherdude15 well i play shooting guard in a league, and there is no way you can go up and down the court without no muscles, you need to do weight training, running, legs, shoulders, arms, and hamsstrings, in basketball you need speed, power and stamina and form, for example ur arms, if you have skinny or fat arms, that will get tired in few minutes, that will mess up ur form, secondly, power and speed, ofcourse in every basketball league thats what you need, 3rd stamina and form ------

  • @datu0108

I think I can disagree with you there. There are 2 ways to ruin your shot a bit. Lifting after because you are tired, which is what you said, and the other way is benching, recovering the next day and going down to the courts the day after you benched because it happened to me and my shot felt EXTREMELY easy, so whenever I was shooting with the same amount of "pressure" it was going farther and off more than it seemed from the previous day.

  • What do you do about your equipment when it rains ???

  • weight lifting wont hurt your shot at all, but when you lift and play right away yes it will definitely because your arms are tired, give your muscles rest , take days off to practice your shooting, remember just dont get too big, just get your muscles, work your legs , arms and chest .
