Wishmaster (1997) - Fear the Djinn

Once, in a time before time, God breathed life into the universe. And the light gave birth to Angels. And the earth gave birth to Man. And the fire gave birth to the Djinn, creatures condemned to dwell in the void between the worlds. One who wakes a Djinn shall be given three wishes. Upon the granting of the third, the unholy legions of the Djinn shall be freed to rule the earth. Fear one thing in all there is...fear the Djinn.

The Intro to one of my favorite movies, produced by Wes Craven. This clip has the first of many cameos from various other horror franchise actors in the film. The Narrator being the actor who plays the 'Tallman' in Phantasm.

That Djinn is so badass!! I remember me and my dad saw this movie opening day and when we got a good close up of the Djinn's face my dad yelled "Damn!! ugly as hell!!" Made everyone in our row jump. lol

Craven has almost nothing to do with this movie, his name is credited just for some more movie sells and for himself to make some bucks out of it.

man y is every story or movie about the djinn a scary one, I think they must be pissed, Djinns are just like humans, the good the bad and the evil, I'm sure they had their "hitler". the only difference is that the djinn is far more advanced than the human, I mean after all, we were created way later after the djinn was!!!! hint, Angels are made of light, man of clay, and djinn of fire, and so was lucifer, made of fire, unlike the popular believe that lucifer was and Angel!
