  • Awesome clip of puttering before full bore

Which ESC and motors did you use?Is it programmable?

Do you need a different ESC to control 2 motors?

The web needs a Qi Da modified Page...

  • I used the stock motors and one standard brushed ESC--I believe it was 40 amps. You have to reverse the polarity on one of the motors to make it run opposite the other since the props counter rotate. Also remove the capacitors from the motors since they will not take reverse polarity. I sold the boat awhile back so memory a bit hazy. Thanks

  • I did not try the electronics that came with the boat. I imagine the speed would be about the same unless you went to a higher voltage on a different speed control. I clocked my boat the other day using a GPS unit and it ran 13 mph. I thought it would have been faster. I am going to check the speed again today to see if I can get more speed. Thanks, Morris

  • This boat has one of the coolest rooster-tails! :-)

  • Mucho Grasias Senor

  • These hulls handle speed very well , but the factory running gear is just crap , I pulled every bit out of mine and went Brushless DC , now its a totally different animal

  • motors

  • hi does it steer with the rudders or with the motors . .

and wat do the oringinal 1s steer with . ?

  • Hi there i have just purchased one and as standard is quite slow. Will the electronics ie speed controller take any more voltage?as anyone tried?.Also if i buy an aftermarket esc,do i just spilt the single live and neg connection to run both motors?

  • Is it worth buying a speed control?i mean can you really notice the speed differnce?
