The youngsters Chelsea, Allison, Derrick and Mike are grieving the suicide of their friend Adam, who became obsessed with an internet game called Hellworld. Their former friend Jake blames the group since they have not stopped playing the game even when Adam was unstable. When they receive an invitation to a Hellworld party in an isolated mansion, the reluctant Chelsea decides to join the group and they surprisingly find Jake in the party. He explains that he was invited by a girl he met in a chat room. They are hosted by the owner of the place, who shows them his private macabre collection. Along the night, they find that they are in a party in hell.

....Hellraiser 1 ,2 ,3 and 4 where awesome movies but they have change by the time and they don't respect the fans ...i really love the concept in the 1 and 2 of people really paying the price of opening the box.. but in 5 and 6(and i hate those) they totally change the story and is a shame pinhead goes to soft is like a more quiet character and why in the hell that happened someone explain to me!!???....so in me opinion the 1,2,3 ,4 and of course revelation remake that's the real Hellraiser

I never watched these films for the violence I like a good storyline And Hellraiser delivered

@Tool78Maynard When Jac made the puzzle box in bloodlines he had zero idea his buyer wanted to control a demon and Anglies lover did tell him "Demons roam the earth and will harm others and your responsible" or the way I seen it "People will die and you made it possible to destroy mankind" It was redemption and a life oblgion on the toy makers part to set things correct.

@flatcapman on a basic level..thats exactly it my friend. Obviously it goes way deeper than that but you get the idea. Cheers..most people just see gore and pointless violence..in turn..block out these masterpieces (Hellraiser 1 & 2 IMO)..Oh well..their loss.

@flatcapman besides the Levation concept..what is clive bark trying to IMPLY with the story? How the story unfolds, etc. Metaphors and the like.
