8/3/11 Liberal "tax the rich" wish list would save less than $1.2 trillion over ten years

Assuming best case that none would do more harm than good (that's a huge assumption), the liberal wish list would save less than $1.2 trillion over ten years. That's a drop in the bucket when we are spending nearly $2 trillion more than we take in every year. If you were lied to that much in the purchase of a house or car the salesman could be prosecuted. It seems the same should be true for the liberal politicians. Remember the Jon Lovitz "that's the ticket" skit on SNL? Don't tell Jon that he's got exactly what it takes to make it big in politics
