Your not driving on the wrong side.
-
THE NORTH = CHARACHTER
THE SOUTH = LONDON... Does anyone even care about 2012 olympics?
-
@TheGuyThatSpysOnYou It's outside of Providence that really is nice - only nobody will probably hear that...
-
@TheGuyThatSpysOnYou Oooookkkkkkk. You really need some anger management or prozak... Nobody thinks it's the only thing in England. Whatever is "promoted" within the tourism industry is pretty much what "most" people will talk about and/or visit. What is mostly promoted are the big cities so therefore London will be one of them. People that go to USA think New York City is the only place to visit. I live in RI - other than Providence, how many places there do you really know?
-
@brcreature I've driven in just about all the major US cities (including Miami) and I gotta say I think New York takes them all. Even having lived here for years, I still find it the most tense and nerve-racking city to drive in. Chicago- breeze, L.A.- breeze (until you sit on the 405), San Fran- annoying, but relatively easy, Miami- can be a pain, but not nearly as bad as New York... Actually, DC is probably next up to NY...

@TheGuyThatSpysOnYou Keep on dreaming. London has always been and always will be the place that World wide tourists come to
It is a 24hours City that never sleeps and all the sites and attraction that the north can only dream of.
Oh and we speak the correct Queens English
-
Americans...

Why do Americans think that the only thing in England is London it really pisses me off! yes it's the capital of England but up North is the proper England.. the England where you can walk into a shop and buy a meat and potato pie, the england where you can buy a steak bake from greggs, the england that makes england what it is, a grim place with alot of historical and brilliant character!
-
ive driven in america and damn that's pretty fucked up to say the least lol.. most cars over there are automatic, they have no roundabouts, lots of intersectionstraffic lights and waiting lol. you guys should become REAL drivers and get a gear stick
-
How the heck do you drive in England?! is seems sooo confusing hahah!
For the record, I don't live in London and while its one of the great cities of the world, I don't like big cities and don't like london so fucking much as fatboy222222222222 seems to think. I am under no illusions of grandeur. This was the first and last time I drove in London for the single purpose of picking up a bed I bought on ebay.

whinge? I'll have to add that one to my vocabulary. What does it mean?

How are you finding it in London? Do you like it? I live 2 hours from London and deciding to move into London or move to Canada. But finding it to be a difficult decision. Oh by the way, how is the bed? lol

Well we actually live about 60 miles outside of London. We just drove in that day to pick up the bed--which was still smaller than an American standard King size bed but we are liking it okay. We are happy to have it as everything is so expensive and we can't afford to buy much in the way of furniture. As far as living in the UK in general we like it ok but I love my job and that's what keeps us here.

If I could get the same job in the states or Canada I wouldn't have to think twice about moving.

ok ok, let me get this straight. You went all the way to another country on another continent 3000 miles away so you could pick up a bed?

Uh, no we moved to the UK and found the double bed in our furnished flat a wee bit too small for our American standards. So I bought a king sized bed off Ebay and we had to drive to London to pick it up.
