My first upload in weeks!
On 2 July, the Middleton Railway hosted its annual model railway exhibition with a good sesction to offer.
Part 1 takes a look at what action there was to see on the running line.
Hudswell Clarke MSC 0-6-0T No.67 was hauling passenger trains up the Balm Road Branch, while Manning Wardle 0-6-0ST "Matthew Murray" was offering a drive round the yards for £5.
In Part 1:
MSC No.67 departs over the crossing at Moor Road
A footplate ride aboard "Matthew Murray",
No.67 arrive back as it and the Manning Wardle blow a series of toots,
No.67 running round its train ready for another run,
No.67 departs Moor Road Station with another train.
Unfortunately, because some vandals had removed a section of line train were run on the Balm Road Branch instead of up to Middleton Park.
Part 2 will include a look at the model exhibits on display that day.
