Progesterone shot (gestational surrogate) (PIO)

@cmgirt It was...I actually had my IM do it for me tonight...MUCH BETTER :) Transfer is postponed till Sat. I will be in Miami till Monday...Long day...BTW...Dr. Ackerman is doing the transfer. Dr. Jacob's is going out of town this weekend.

Take 2 for comment making :P :I hit a vein a couple of times.. boy does that make a mess! haha!! but...Look at you, already a pro!! Its funny how different clinics have different protocols, I never had to add air to the PIO and I always injected 1ml (however I had to take 2 vag suppositories a day!Yuck!) I warmed up the oil in my hands in the needle before injecting.. ;) Added tip: "Try" to keep the needle steady when injecting.. otherwise you might bruise more ;) GOOD LUCK! STICKY DUST!!

@meredegaby I warmed it up the last two night's and forgot, and boy can I tell the diiference. I am sitting on the heating pad now...I am lucky no bruise from last night I

am hoping the same for tonight ;) How did you know you hit a vein? By doing the drawlback and seeing it? Thank you for your support...I will update you with how it goes tommorow. My IM is going to be w/ me ;)

The only comment I have is that by using your fingers to find the muscle you completely contaminated the injection site again, even your shirt falling over it is contamination...

I wish you luck and praise you for your bravery. I intend no disrespect with the following comment.....As a RN I must caution anyone watching this video......Do not follow the technique used. If you need to learn how to administer an IM injection find a source from an accredited nursing program.
