  • Maddow lost all my respect in the 15 seconds 3:17 - 3:33. This is like defending Nazi Germany during their siege on Poland...not the military siege... the siege on the Warsaw Ghetto. Shame on you Rachel.

  • Stop the rockets by murdering 1400 human beings. Keep on killing even though you know that the area is densely populated and that the Gazans cannot run across the borders. They are trapped. So if most of the killed are civilians, that is totally permitted since the militants are using the civilians as shields. I am still waiting for photos of Hamas militants with women and babies strapped on their chest.

  • @CarribeanBeachbum06 sad but true.only when one side wipes out the other will there be peace.

  • please name me one war where there were no civilian casualties.

  • This is a two-sided war. Both sides have claim to the land, both use military force and the actions of both are governed by extremists who hold such derogatory, xenophobic views of each other that they perceive them to be little more than vermin. The doctrines of extremism in Israel/Palestine prevent any solid peace negotiations from taking place. We need to subdue extremism in this volatile region, because until that happens, no peace can be achieved, and the bloodshed will continue.

  • The Israeli incursion into Gaza was a huge success. Since Israel invaded Hamas has been deeply damaged and they are afraid to send rockets into Israel. The Palestinians learned a hard but necessary lesson.

  • Hamas and Fatah have joined forces? From what I've read, they're still discussing it and Fatah isn't all too interested.

If Fatah knows what's good for it, it'll vie for the peaceful option, like it has been all along. Thanks for the update, I'll be sure to look more in to it.

  • I think protesters around the World should protest the violence equally. Denounce anything but peaceful negotiations. That means there should be thousands in the streets when a rocket is launched or a suicide bomb goes off. For some reason, that doesn't happen. It is Chic to protest Israel but not violent actions. Violence will cease when it loses it's audience.

  • I don't support an offense at all. I'm stating the obvious, that Israel is making the world second guess their support, and working up the Arab world.

So the only way for families to be happy is keep borders locked down, even the international Maritime border, deny trade, settle foreign land, and shoot children for throwing stones? Then spread this policy in other surrounding states?

What do you think should be done? Just cleanse the area they can settle even more of their land?

  • The Arab World already tried to commit genocide on the Israeli people and ...failed. Perhaps the World wants to encourage the Arabs to try again. Maybe this time both sides can escalate to nuclear weapons. Then will families have peace?
